Empathy
We can't fix it, but we see it, we feel it, and we embrace it.

Collins Cares was founded in 2024 by Annie and Austin Rippeto, Collins’ parents. Collins lost her life suddenly and unexpectedly in January 2024 at just 1.5 years of age. Desperate for help, resources, and connection, we quickly realized there isn’t much out there to aid parents in navigating living their lives after child loss. The heartbreak bereaved parents experience for a lifetime is simply profound and devastating. Though we don’t have all the answers, we are committed to making a difference, no matter how small, in the lives of bereaved parents. Regretfully, our little girl is our heart, soul, and purpose of Collins Cares. And though we never wanted to be apart of the bereaved parents community or for our daughter to be the driving force for Collins Cares, we are still her parents and are dedicated to make certain her name is never forgotten and her love continues to be spread.
Collins Elizabeth, you are so loved.
Love, Mom & Dad
We can't fix it, but we see it, we feel it, and we embrace it.
Showing up consistently matters more than having the right words. We stay.
Every child's name deserves to be spoken. We will remember.
Grief and hope can live side by side. We hold space for both, always.
Whether you give, volunteer, or simply share your child's name with us — every act counts for something.
